My Favorite Cream Cheese Frosting
This is my absolute favorite cream cheese frosting. It is easy and requires minimal ingredients. It is only 3 ingredients, Plus a few extracts that are optional! If you have a stand mixer, it can be made in less than 5 minutes.
Birthday Cupcakes for the Win
I originally created this frosting recipe to be used on tie- dye cupcakes for mine and my besties joint Birthday celebration. I needed a frosting that could be made into a swirl with multiple colors and also we wanted a cream cheese frosting. So it needed to be firm enough to endure the piping bag and be able to showcase the colors. Kate’s cupcakes with my frosting were a match made in Baking Heaven. Beautiful and tasty.
Dislike Buttercream? Try This Frosting.
So my husband despises Buttercream Icing. I totally get it, you have to really love sweets to appreciate it and he does not. Well unless it is a (Tres Leches Cake, then it is a different story.) But really, I do understand it can be a bit overwhelmingly sweet. It sometimes even makes me feel like my teeth are wearing little fuzzy sweaters. SO MUCH SUGAR.
But he does love this cream cheese frosting. I think the tangy cream cheese helps balance out all that sugar and butter. Making this our families favorite cream cheese frosting.
What should you use my Favorite Cream Cheese Frosting on?
