Monte Cristo Croissant Sandwich

Monte Cristo Croissants

The Sweet, Savory Monte Cristo Croissant

Words cannot begin to describe how I feel about this Monte Cristo Croissant sandwich. Also, I have struggled every single time I have typed the word “Croissant”. SO please if you see a croissant typo, please just ignore me and let it be. I can’t spell, even with spell check.

The sweetness of the croissant, jam and powdered sugar balance so perfectly with the savory ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese. One might say that it is the FULL MONTE. (I think i’m funny).

One of the best things about this sandwich is how fast it comes together!

This is a great recipe for a busy weeknight. I simply serve the Monte Cristo Croissant Sandwich with a tossed salad and call it a night. Due to the sandwich having a lot of different flavors, I typically serve the salad with a light dressing or keeping with the Raspberry theme, a Raspberry Vinaigrette is also an option.

Additionally, this sandwich could also be served at brunch. Rather than serving with a tossed salad, I would simply pair the sandwich with a small fruit salad.
