Instant Pot Cheesy Broccoli & Rice

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup White Rice
  • 1 ¼ Cup Chicken Broth
  • 12 Oz Broccoli Frozen, Steamable Bag
  • 10.5 Oz Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 Cup Cheese of Choice Shredded, I use cheddar
  • Salt, pepper, and other seasonings of choice see notes

Instructions
 

  • Add Chicken Broth to the Instant Pot inner pot.
  • Add the white rice and stir.
  • Secure the lid and move the pressure valve to the sealing position. Press the manual cook button and adjust time to 4 minutes.
  • While the rice is cooking, it will take a around 10 minutes to come to pressure), cook broccoli in microwave according to package instructions.
  • Once the rice as finished cooking, let the pressure naturally release for about 10 minutes.
  • Turn off Instant Pot. Stir in broccoli, soup, cheese, and seasonings to taste. Replace lid, but don't seal, and let sit 5 minutes.
  • Remove lid, stir, ensure the cheese has melted, and enjoy.

Notes

I like to use salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder for my seasonings. However, you can omit any of these and choose seasonings that your family enjoys.
