Combine Apples, Water, and Butter in medium saucepan.
On Medium heat, let the apples simmer till soft, stirring occasionally. This was about 15 minutes for me.
Add the cinnamon to saucepan, stirring to coat the apples.
Add 1 tbsp of caramel to each of the pie shells. This should be enough to mostly coat the bottom.
Add apples to pie shells on top of the caramel.
Drizzle approximately 2 tbsp of caramel on each pie, or if this is too much for your liking you can decrease this amount.
This last step is completely optional, but it sure is tasty! Add a dollop of whipped topping to each pie.
Store any leftovers in fridge.
